We recently joined forces with London City 7’s and Keystone at The HAC, Moorgate, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, for the London City 7’s rugby event. With 3,000 enthusiastic rugby fans and world-class teams like Saracens and Harlequins, the goal was clear: serve up drinks fast and keep everyone happy.
The Challenge
Large events often mean long queues, slow service, and frustrated customers. The organizers wanted to avoid these headaches and ensure a smooth experience for all 3,000 attendees on what turned out to be a hot, sunny day.
Our SwiftPour Solution
Swift Pour UK brought in a powerhouse setup: six mobile tables with 12 pouring points and an innovative Swift Pour event dome with four pouring points, totaling 7 units and 16 pouring docks across the venue. We also had 10 strategically placed cup bins for our reusable cups, boosting sustainability efforts.
Nine staff members were quickly trained to operate the system, ensuring efficiency. Our team showed incredible adaptability and kept the pints flowing with minimal disruption.
The Results? Pretty Awesome!
Customers absolutely loved the “theatre” of the Swift Pour system and the super-fast service. They told us they “never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a beverage”.
We poured 65 kegs over an 8-hour period, with the majority during the peak period of 4 PM to 7 PM, showing how well SwiftPour handles high-traffic demands.
The event truly showcased Swift Pour’s ability to boost service efficiency and enhance the fan experience, all while supporting sustainable practices with reusable cups and significant waste reduction. It’s a win-win for everyone!
